Oral History

Oral History is another sub-group of IMSOCIO led by Fernando Ramirez, 12th grader atFranklin High School, which focuses on reaching out to the senior citizens of the Raritan Health and Extended Care Center Nursing Home. Edgard Jimenez, also a 12th grade student at FHS, gave team leader Fernando the idea to reach out to the senior citizens from that specific center. Jaer Hernandez, a 12th grader at FHS, is another student passionate about speaking with senior citizens in order to help them get in touch with the past and share their stories. The goal of Oral History is to track down and map the locations of where the senior citizens grew up and attended school. Think of it as a blast from the past!
